EDDIE’S ROAD HOUSE

While visiting Mistucky Creek a few months back, we were tipped off about Eddie’s Road House. Now I had heard about this place from a few people – rotating taps, cask, and an excellent food selection were all I needed to hear to take the trip. Eddie’s is a small family run bar located in downtown Warwick, NY. The area is traditionally known for apple picking and wineries, and now the craft beer movement is establishing a foothold in that heritage. Some of America’s best breweries have found their way to this little town, with every bar having some sort of craft offering.

While Eddie’s may not be one of the biggest beer bars I have been too, the modest space boasted a nice variety of different beers that were all craft. No macro’s are to be found here.

Check out eight taps with brews from both the East and West coasts – you may even find an import or two on.

One of the local artists created this piece on the chalk board. I can’t wait until 75min hits the bars around here.

I went for a Ballast Point Big Eye IPA. I just had it fresh out in San Diego and was excited to see the brew found its way to New York.

Guyre loves IPA’s; Dogfish 90 Minute was all he wanted to consume.

This sign made us realize we needed to grab a bite to eat.

We both ordered burger-style dishes. I went for some traditional sliders while Jared went for this magnificent looking bacon cheese burger.

If you are ever in the area do yourself a favor and stop by Eddie’s Road House. Whether you are looking for a bite to eat or an after work libation, they have you covered. The food is excellent and the beer selection will never disappoint. Check out their Facebook page for more information on business hours and up-coming events.
