SCHLAFLY AMERICAN IPA

Schlafly American IPA
It’s been over a month since we touched on a beer from the midwest, and what better way to get back in gear than with an awesome brew all the way from “The Show Me State.” If you didn’t pay attention in grade school, I am talking about the great state of Missouri, home to over 50 breweries (from the big guys like Anheiser Busch to awesome craft breweries such as Schlafly.) While we’re not really interested in the AB products so much, supporting folks like Schlafly is something we can get behind. Continue reading “SCHLAFLY AMERICAN IPA”

WORMTOWN BREWERY BE HOPPY

Wormtown 1
We have a lot of friends in the beer industry, some work at bars, others work at distributors and some even work at breweries. One of the coolest friends we have though is Tyler over at Iron Heart Canning. Iron Heart has been all over the North East lately, canning everywhere from Massachusetts all the way to Philadelphia. Filling a neat little niche, all of Ramstein’s beers are made to reinheitsgebot with the same care and precision Greg learned in Germany with all his ingredients coming straight from Bavaria.

BOLERO SNORT LUCKY BUCK

Lucky Buck 14

With mobile canning companies popping up all over the country, craft breweries are getting their beers into the packages way ahead of when they originally thought. One of those brewing companies is Bolero Snort here in New Jersey. Bob and Andrew have been promoting their beer hard, and coming up on one year of business this month, they are taking the necessary steps to keeps things interesting at Bolero Snort – starting with seasonal canned offerings of their smaller batches of beer. I recently spent some time with them up at High Point Brewing Company to help them pack out Jersey’s second craft beer in a can, Lucky Buck. Continue reading “BOLERO SNORT LUCKY BUCK”
