If you remember our post a few weeks back we took you on a little tour of the new River Horse facility in Ewing, New Jersey. We have a follow up to that article with a short film interviewing Head Brewer Chris Rakow and Co-Owner, Chris Walsh, talking to them about the new digs and what it is like to get out of Lambertville. The brewery is now open for tours and tastings and spots are selling out quick. Continue reading “RIVER HORSE BREWING EXPANSION”
DOUBLE DOSE
It has been a while since we touched on something from Otter Creek let alone posting something about Lawsons Finest. But here we are and the two have joined forces to bring us a dank double india pale ale that could only come from Vermont. The beer is called Double Dose IPA with a title “Great Minds Drink Alike” and we couldn’t agree more on the collaboration. Continue reading “DOUBLE DOSE”
DOGFISH HEARD AMERICAN BEAUTY

For those who don’t the long and short, the story is that Magic Hat claimed that the star on the above can of IPA infringed upon that of their product #9. Personally, I think it was messed up, and in an industry this small a brewery should be able to call another brewery and be reasonable about the situation, rather than bring in the lawyers. Since Magic Hat is no longer that small wholesome brewery in Vermont, and is now owned by some capitalist firm in Manhattan, litigation was the go-to solution.
