Yesterday we spent some time down at River Horse Brewing, as the gang put their finishing touches on their barrel aged beers. Truly a labor of love, this is a first for River Horse, and they are very excited to get these bottles in the consumers hands this weekend. The beers they aged were their Triple Horse in Bourbon Barrels, Milk Stout in bourbon barrels, and a special version of their Berliner Weisse in red wine barrels with tart cherries.
Thanks to Chris Rakow for letting me come down to grab some photos. It’s great to see a brewery like River Horse trying new things that they are in the new facility. I hope this is the beginning of an awesome barrel aged series from them. The bottles are available today starting at noon. No reservations are being taken, so get on down to the brewery and get a couple of bottles.
