Boulevard has finally landed it Jersey, and while there might not be much fan fare about, it is some quality beer and I urge the drinkers of the garden state to seek it out. Recently acquired by the folks at Duvel, yes the same people that own Ommegang, Boulevard is able to make a bigger foot print here in the states, and reach more markets. We may not like breweries getting bought up by bigger guys, at least they didn’t get in bed with InBev or Miller Coors, and for that we thank them.
They do some interesting beers, but they also do some very approachable IPA’s, and their flagship Single Wide, is both refreshing, clean, and one of our favorites.
Forget your normal six pack holder. Boulevard has some neat packing that can be re purposed for many uses.
We look forward to drinking more Boulevard in the years to come, and can’t wait to start seeing some of the Smoke Stack Series around. This is some of the best beer from the Mid-West and we are stoked it’s here. Cheers to Boulevard Brewing and Peerless Beverage for giving us something new to try. It is a worth while investment, and we hope Boulevard is here to stay.
