As the label says, the 90 Minute is too much at times and the 60 Minute just doesn’t cut it; the perfect cure lies some where in the middle of the two. What was once a brewpub-only offering (originally named “Johnny Cask”), 75 Minute IPA has recently hit shelves to give Dogfish Head drinkers something new to anticipate. This IPA is nothing like its older and younger brothers. Although it is still continuously hopped, it’s naturally carbonated and bottle conditioned with maple syrup, giving the beer a very light mouth feel that is both crisp and refreshing. Although I would prefer a pint from the cask of this brew, having it out of the bottle is equally pleasant and will be easier to come by as it will be distributed a few times a year.
