If you are a local beer drinker around New Jersey and New York, you might have heard of Jesse Ferguson. He helped get the ball rolling at Carton and his currently lending a hand at Other Half by his home Brooklyn. But that is not what we are here to discuss.
It’s a real pleasure to announce his newest brewing adventure, Interboro Spirits & Ales. With the resurgence of beer making in Brooklyn, Jesse thought it would be awesome to have a little place of his own in the Williamsburg section of the NYC borough.
The former wood working place will be a haven for craft drinkers to come gather. The plans are to have an engaging tasting room where craft enthusiasts can have a beer, get a growler to go and even munch on some food.
Teaming up with his partner Laura Dierks. Interboro will produce some tasty ales, mixed fermentation beverages and even spirits.
The space is big and will house a 30 barrel brew house with a fermentation capacity of 90 barrels to start for the beer and a 240 gallon still for spirits. You can also expect some fun barrel aging projects as well. If you’re making and beer and spirits, why not marry the two?
We will be spending a good amount of time with Jesse throughout his build out so stay tuned for more from Interboro Brewing. In the mean time give them a follow socially at the links below and don’t forget to check out their site for updates. Congrats to Jesse and Laura, this is going to be a fun ride. See you soon.
