The Midwest seems to be on the come up with some more than exceptional brews. Except for the now macro owned Goose Island, we see very few beers from around that way on the East Coast. One of our team members just spent some time in the Windy City and had nothing but praises to sing about the city and of course the growing beer scene. One beer that stood out amongs them all was Daisy Cutter Pale Ale from Half Acre Brewing. Needless to say he came back with an ample amount to share with the rest of us back home. This American Pale rings at a median ABV of 5.2%, packed full of hop flavor that could easily be mistaken for an IPA. After having my fair share of this wonderful beer I came to conclusion that it might be one of the best I’ve tasted this year. I don’t know if we will ever see this can come to NJ but I would trade something ridiculous for a four pack of it right now.
