Hidden off the beaten path – yet next to one of the busiest interstates in the country – lies a hidden secret where the beer flows and the music plays on. Adam’s Beer Garden In Rockaway, New Jersey, has been serving up brews for a while and boasts quite the selection of craft beer within its twenty six draft lines. With help from the local distributors, Adam’s has kept the likes of Yards, Long Trail, Smuttynose, and Flying Dog flowing.
Quite the craft line-up if I do say so myself.
They even have their original tap set up with your import staples. I would say they have come a long way.
Aside from a place like Barcade, not to many beer bars I go to have something to keep patrons busy while enjoying a few pints. That is not the case at Adam’s; the pool table and dart boards are always busy here and there is live music every weekend.
Adam’s has been around for a while and seeing all the old beer memorabilia around is neat.
During the warmer weather there is an outdoor deck for the patrons to escape the business of the inside.
While Adam’s doesn’t have a full menu they have a few odds and ends that are the perfect companion to your tall glass of suds.
I am happy to finally have gotten over to Adam’s Beer Garden – it has been quite some time since I sat down for a pint here. Owner Mark LaDoux is doing an amazing job and is very open to this craft beer boom. They are always rotating their craft selection so you never know what you may come across when you pay them a visit.
