It has been quite some time since we featured a beer bar on I Drink Good Beer. With the holidays being so busy it is tough for us to get out there and find new places, but now that things are slowing down we have rejoined the fray. One bar that is standing apart from the competition these days is Tap House Grille in Wayne, NJ. With 24 taps of rotating beer and an extensive bottle list, it is becoming a favorite destination for craft beer drinkers around New Jersey.
The first thing that caught my eye here was the layout of the beer menu. Updated almost daily, their menu breaks down all the styles of beer they offer with points of origin and abv levels.
Just in case you needed bigger print: Tap House Grille updates the chalkboard with their most recently tapped beers.
Beers from around the world eventually find their place here at Tap House Grille. Whether it’s from our own back yard, the West Coast, or Europe, I can guarantee you Tap House has poured it.
One of the best ways to sample a range of beers is to grab a flight. I loaded up on some local Kane beers and some winter favorites from Great Divide and Ridgeway.
Not only can you have your beer here, you can also take it to go. Tap House Grille offers their own growler and you can fill up on most beers that are flowing. New Jersey Craft Beer members also get $3 off their fill.
I feel compelled to mention the food at this establishment. The short rib tacos are to die for and so is the BLT wedge salad.
Whether you are looking for a nice night out, a quick beer at the bar, or an all out celebration, Tap House Grill has got you covered with ample dining space and two secluded rooms on their second level.
This won’t be the last post we do with Tap House Grille; we will be attending their 2nd year anniversary and rare beer night. There are tons of great beer that will be hitting the lines, so if you are in the area do yourself a favor and swing by.
