What happens when you take Bolero Snort Blackhorn, mix it with espresso, and vanilla, then let it sit for over ten months in a fresh, Bulleit Bourbon Barrel? You get one damn good beer, and that beer is Javahorn.
Based on a fan favorite treatment during their freshman year as beer makers, Bob and Andrew decided it was time to bring it back.
Sitting down with Bob over a glass of this was a real treat. The flavors of the beer meld very well together, making you come back, sip after sip, until your glass is gone.
This batch is extremely limited with only 225 bottles total.
If you remembered their anniversary beer, you would know that the Bolero gang loves to put wax on their special bottles.
Its all packaged up and ready to go. The beer is due out this Friday to select accounts around Northern New Jersey as well as the return of Blackhorn. With only a small number available, I don’t imagine it will make it far, so happy hunting to those seeking out this bourbon barrel goodness. Expect an announcement Thursday night, Friday morning on where you can get yours.
