I am a sucker for a good bottle shop and although one of my favorites hasn’t been around for some time, there is a new game in town and I am excited to share it with you all.The shop is called, Beer Karma and it is located in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn.
Brooklyn needed a shop like this and the brains behind it is, Dan Lomonaca. Dan has a real passion for beer and what he is doing with Beer Karma proves it.
Beer Karma has a focus on quality, serving everything from sour beer and stouts to local beers and those oh so famous juicy ipas.
The cooler is always packed with awesome cans from near and far.
The draft list is always rotating here and a nice addition the experience, is that most beers are served in Teku’s.
Want to drink it now? Anything in the cooler can be consumed on site and they don’t charge a corkage fee Wednesdays. Hell of a deal.
Loved what you had on draft? Take it to go in a growler.
Dan is a stickler for freshness. He will not take any ipa’s in if they are more than two weeks old. You can always expect freshies at Beer Karma
Whether you are looking for something to go or sit down and have a glass with their knowledgable staff, Beer Karma is a must on anyones beer related visits to Brooklyn. Thanks to Dan having me out. I cannot wait to return.
