Some of the greatest people I have ever met have been found on my travels to race tracks around the US. Every place I have been seems to have their own little flair, but when it all boils down there is nothing like the East Coast. My home track – Raceway Park, in Old Bridge New Jersey – throws the greatest grassroots drift events in country and is a place where I have made some really good friends. With good friends comes the sharing of many libations (a lot of which is canned beer). With so many breweries canning their beer these days, my friends are all bringing something different for these long weekends.Oskar Blues, Sly Fox, and Sixpoint are some of the familiar suspects, but this beer has to top them all. My buddy Brian from MA-Motorsports brought out some canned goodness that can only be found in Baltimore, Maryland: Resurrection, from a little place called The Brewers Art. This is an Abbey Dubbel that’s just bursting with flavor. Dark fruits, sweet sugar, and dark malts all in a full bodied brew made it the perfect companion for the cold days ahead of us. I couldn’t thank Brian enough for bringing it out. However beer wasn’t the only thing on our agenda this particular weekend. We had Raceway Park to ourselves for three days to do what ever we wanted and made one of the greatest drift films of all time.
I introduce to you to Blood Masters. Of course this is just a teaser but if you are interested enough you can stay up to date with their Facebook and Youtube page when the full feature film drops in 2012.
