One of the greatest things about the changing into autumn, is the amount of wet hop beers coming out. Wet hops only come around once a year, so depending on how friendly you are with your hop distributor, you may get some run of the mill hops, or interesting strains like mosaic, or even citra. Carton Brewing has a base rye beer that they like to make around harvest time, and always seem to get their hands on something cool for the brew. Going through Hopsteiner, Carton sourced some fresh, wet, calypso hops from Golden Gate Farms in Washington state, and had them overnighted for the brew a few fridays back.
