Last week we featured a delicious IPL from our friends at Barrier Brewing so it was inevitable that I feature the whole brewery as it’s one of my favorite beer makers here in the tri-state area. Opening it’s doors in 2009, Barrier has made quite a name for themselves turning out fantastic ales and lagers, landing themselves as one of the most popular breweries on Long Island. I first met Evan and the gang about 6 years ago and I can’t believe it took me this long to make my pilgrimage. Let’s head on in and check it out.
If you find yourself in New York City, make the trek out to Long Island and start your day with Barrier. They are doing some really special things here and with an expansion in the few months, they will be spreading more of their liquid around sharing it with the masses.
