PRAIRIE & FRIENDS TRVE EDITION
FOUNDATION BREWING FADING LIGHT
LA BIERE DARBYSTE
MAKER: Brasserie de Blaugies – Blaugies, Hainaut
STYLE: Saison
ABV: 5.8%
NOTES:You can’t talk about saison with out mentioning Brasserie de Blaugies. Made at an old farmhouse in Belgium, they have been cranking out this beer since the late 80’s and still holds up as one of the better imports to pluck of the shelf. This was my first time having the beer and I wish I scooped up a few more bottles to lay down.
TIRED HANDS BREWING HOP HANDS
MAKER: Tired Hands Brewing – Ardmore, Pennsylvania
STYLE: Pale Ale
ABV: 5.5%
NOTES: I just love this beer. When I first visited Tired Hands four years ago, this was the first beer that graced my palate and changed the way I thought about the American pale ale. It’s juicy, not to bitter and a refreshing beer to start off an afternoon. Jean has done a great job with this beer and with their canning line in full swing, it’s nice to have tall boys of this beer in my fridge. Keep up the good work guys, see you soon.
